I heard this beautiful ballad by Kari & Topi Kari was looking for some lyrics so i thought i'd throw my hat in the ring stealing an idea from Frank i gave it a go.....Hope you enjoy....Thanks Kari & Topi for the wonderful piano......
When I was w/ Kari Topi

When I was nineteen
Well it was a crazy time
With Summers never ending
life was a kind a pantonmine
Dreams were there only, as a token
Never ending nights drinking, partying and smoking

When I was 22,I remember not really having a clue
I was working hard, partying trying to break on through
Acting crazy, Raising hell, being misconstrued
When I was 32
I had to decide what it is I wanted to do
it all went wrong I was made to take a different, point of view
I lost the love of my life I almost lost my child
I fort hard for my sanity and went a little wild

Break

When I was 35 i met my wife and came back to life
I'd found that love really made a great kind of life at 35
Through my 40's oh they were so much fun
Starting a new family and finally becoming one
Life felt again fulfilled and that it had truly begun
I was in love with life, I was awakened

Everyday is full
Everyday is good to me
Everyday is special
Everyday is filled with love

If Life is a dream then use your imagination

Thanks for the warm and autobiographical take of our tune, Trev! This is just great performance. We should release an album of our collabs, soon :). I like everyone of them!

Lovely poignant song lyrically and and the nice simplistic piano accompaniment is perfect for the nostalgic theme of the words. Cool expressive vocals too. Great work, guys; well done.

Well done all!  The music is beautiful...and the words are heartfelt and personal...introspective..... growing up can be hard...we make a lot of mistakes.
I have very few regrets and that is a good place to be.  What I love about this though, as far as the words go, is that you can decide to start over and get it right....and then to realize how beautiful life really is... that is maturity!

Yeah, this is very nice.  Piano & strings are great and your vocal captures some nice emotion.  The lyrics are heartfelt and many can identify with them.

Great story of a resurrected life; coming back from a dark place to find the light.
I remember hearing the music, and wondering what I would do with it. You weaved a very real tale that sounds good, and feels good.
Nice work.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Is it Autobiographical or made up Trev?

I thought that was Brilliant , and i must confess , i had a moment when listening to you voice looking back at my life as well through the years , your song was very well written and sang , the piano accompaniment was just stunning and so well performed by "Kari & Topi" but the icing on the cake was your melody and the songs message which was from your heart , Just Brilliant really liked it

If i didn't know better, I would swear that that song was written around the lyrics, rather than the other way around. You really brought out the potential in the song. Kudos!

This song is really something special.
