Nigel gave me his blessing to perform surgery on a couple of his pieces that I really like.  So as far as I am concerned this is really just to honor his great work on "Minotaur" and "White Rabbit."
I am learning to use the DAW (right now its bandlab).  Which I do mess it up some.  Overall though I think this is a really useful tool and makes things much easier in some regards.
There are a few almost scary moments within this work.  The only thing added apart from Nigel's work is the clocks.  Early in the song when he says "destitute" the high hat actually becomes part of the word it seems (from 2 different songs).
I created a guitar pitch shift for a few seconds at one point...weird and cool.
At about 2:20 he asks "but do you know what's at stake?" to which the immediate reply comes "Go ask Alice, when she's 10 feet tall."
The weird drum for a couple seconds comes from the White Rabbit of Nigels... and then there is the usual weird volume and panning stuff for headphones.... I was never really into hallucinogenics... and I would'nt want to be and listen to this....freak out.
****also I wsn't quite sure which board to place this on....

I listened to the original at first and I'm on my second listening now with this. Really big sounds here and faced a bit scary moments at places :). Top class additions and fine job with production!

I just found a few minutes to listen to this because I couldn't resist it. I can't listen on headphones as they are packed away ready for the move, and the home studio is just about to be broken down but before I do that I stole some time to listen to this.

Wow. I love it! It's completely out there and truly psychedelic, all things that I love in music, and it's also weird/scary in parts, another aspect that I try to get into a lot of my stuff. This really is on another plane, I really like the way you've mashed this up and done a fair bit of tweaking and stretching. I really liked the way you go that call/response thing at 2:20, and I loved the way you wove the "twinkle twinkle" and Mad Hatter's laughter in towards the end.

Thanks very much for mangling my stuff in a way that I really, really like  :D

This belongs on the way out there board  8) 8)

It belongs on the very cool board.

That was a bit of a trip wasn't it, I'm off to listen to the original versions now.

Trippy to the max! Love this stuff! The weirder the better!

And yes, I did do psychedelics back in the day (50 years ago) so hope that makes me authorized to critique(?)  ???

Couple constructive (hopefully) comments. As an editing hacker, I REALLY wanted to dive in and fix the couple dropouts I heard, and the couple drum timing flubs. I always listen on headphones for the maximum effect so probably notice things more vividly than I should. ;)

And I was surprised that there really is scary parts in it! Too cool! 8)

I totally understand.... the drum thing was actually on purpose because I like to be a bit silly and that was all I had...beside the laugh at the end.... the dropout things can be annoying..... I actually haven't had a chance yet to hear this on headphones.... which I am sure is totally different too..

Love this right down to the spooky Halloween bell at the end.
That laugh freaks me out in this context lol.
A great trip into a world of weirdness and wonder.
