Couldn't let this fest go by without a submission. It was this or Raindrops Keep Falling...

Love playing this on the uke and have gone for the full track. Two ukulele tracks, GB keys, drums & bass and some crafty pizzicato strings.

Grew up with the Stranglers version and this was going to lean in that direction but it's ended up somewhere in its own space  with nods to the original

Nicely done, Nick. It reminded a bit the Stranglers version with the choice of organ, which blends tastefully with what you played on uke. Super reproduction on uke of the main riff from the original version's piano, also!

Lovely jubbly the uke really lends its self to Burts music ...loving the uke and electric piano solo.. Good vocal too fits the vibe of the song

I grew up with the Stranglers version too and was thinking about having a go but I lost my ipad (and Garageband) last year so I'm struggling in the keys department at the moment.
