Little explanation required on this one. I heard this progression and beat in a sci fi short video one night and had to learn it.  Since you can't copyright progressions (I hear) then it's not a copy or cover but does have the same vibe as the sound track I heard.

I later found the video again and tracked down its source.  It's the song "Brightest Star" by a Swedish band called the Fastwalkers.

Figured if I'm going to steal their song style, might as well (sorta) use the name too? Got to give credit where credit is due!

Those things we take for granted - when we're young and immature - will surely return to haunt us when we're old and insecure

right out of the gate this is my kind of thing...as I love guitars the most.. and about your copying...ha...don't we all!  all our lives!  Everything I have in my brain was put in there and what comes out is a result of that so yes we create based on so many factors.  This song is a guitar symphonic delight.  Quite a perfect production.  Nice drum roll in there too... I just love drums...and bass...ha!  Obviously you put alot of attention into detail...

That is a cool beat, and I like that little motif that is repeated. A fun one to jam to, but it also has that melody that sounds so good.

Lovely cool soft rock track and great to jam along with. Nice laid back guitar work.

From the first wash of guitar you got me ... My headS nodding like a plastic dog sat in the back with window of a 1973  Avenger ????

That is a cool progression. It sounds different enough to me, compared to the original, that you could call it your own and feel good about it. The mellow guitar soloing fits right in with the vibe of the song. Nice work!
