Steve has very kindly added some bass and drums to my Autumn Leaves cover. Thanks very much Steve for listening in the first place and for taking my cover to the next level.

first of all an apology...this song was perfect as was and yet I could not resist the temptation to tinker. Sounds good just now through headphones at very low volume. I think there is too much bass amplitude to listen louder...it shakes my car door (lol). Also a couple of misplaced crash cymbals. I am still learning how to mix bass correctly and in my exhuberance I think this needs some correction which i will do in the next week or two. This is such a wonderul song to me...very deep and caring. To capture so much feeling with just a voice and ukele and some words is very powerful, I am quite jealous frankly.
I had fun none the less, taking the last verse, copying it, and placing it once again at the end to add a little more to the song because for me it was too short. Then adding the "Start to fall" at the end two additional times (one probably was enough). This provided several hours of bass practice too, just learning what I thought was acceptable, and that was a pleasure.
I am astounded at the talent and variety on this site...I feel so happy to have found it!

well... I heard JP's lovely version and that brought me back to Hilary's lovely cover... and a few embellishments I added... about a year ago I guess...
anyway...love the voice so much on this.
