A 2 min instrumental...a "quickie" as Mr. Willie would say... and for me I would never do anything that short but this is how this came together...hopefully it meets festival requirements.  I have picked up a number of tricks from folks on this site on eq and bringing out the bass and mixing in general and so playing with this has been fun.... and I am working on a new project called "The Songcrafters Dream" which will have snippets of songs from here (as permission is granted) in kind of a "dream" I have....
Hope you enjoy this...the start is a bit rogue   and I could not figure out how to apply for the instrumental festival so if anyone can tell me I would appreci!

Sounds to my ear a good mix that bass really comes through and that lead tone is lovely just too short but if that's how the inspiration comes that's how it comes .....by message icon if you go down to festival submission admin will do the rest.....look forward to the songcrafters dream ....

Sounds great. Love the dueling guitars and the bass and drums are nice and tight.

Nice work Steve. The bass and drums are much clearer in the mix IMO with really nice sounds on both of them. Really melodic guitars and I really liked the intertwining lead lines.

For a quickie, this is a real goodie, well done!

Oh Yeah, I could tell you had fun putting this together, Steve and a worthy entry into the instrumental fest. I like those swirling guitars and I also like those bass lines. You play your instruments well and tastefully. Great work; well done.

Great job Stephen. It's interesting,  and you obviously are a good song creator.
You are way past my level and I've been doing this for 10 years!
I say pour your heart into it and let your gifts flow. I'm very interested in what you will bring in the days to come.

what a good idea! , but not easy to do ;)
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Those chiming guitar harmonies down the left channel are fantastic. Dramatic and sophisticated stuff. I like the change in dynamic at the end too. Great work!

Redler

Very powerful and a bit dark instrumental song, Stephen! I like the tones which fit like a glove on those chords. Fine instrumental tune!

I like this a lot! Airy and beautiful. What I didn´t like was that the end came so quickly. ;)
