it's a beautiful song by Quebec singer Michel Rivard

Michel Rivard is a Quebec singer-songwriter and creator. Founding member of the group Beau Dommage, he is, among others, the songwriter of the song La Complainte du phoque en Alaska created with the group in 1974. He has been leading a solo career since 1977.
This song is the soundtrack to the eponymous film that tells the story of a young crazy boy who is a fan of ice hockey.

I used only Acoustic guitar takamine ES serie  and Mélodica

and here is the translation of the lyrics, and the chords

Intro`:
 G (320003) C/G (3X2013) (4x)

 G C/G G
Just like the idol of my youth
 Em9 (024000) D/F# (2X023X) C/G (3X2010)
I was dreaming about the wings on my skates
 Em9 D/F# C G Am
Glide silently through life without clumsiness
               Em D/A (X0023X)
 Without injury and grief

 G C/G G
I dreamed of playing for the stars
 Em9 D/F# C/G (3X2010)
 And to thwart destiny
 Em9 D/F# C G Am
One fine morning love would come to inflate my sails
             Em D/A (X0023X)
 Gentle and afraid of nothing

 Am9 (X0550X) Am6/9 (X0450X) Am9 Am6/9
Ouuuuu Ouuuu Ouuuu Ouuuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuuu Ouuuuu
 G C/G G
Heart right side up, heart upside down
 Em9 D/F# Am9 Am6/9
Ouuuuu Ouuuu Ouuuu Ouuuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuu Ouuuu Ouuuuu
 G D/F# G
I tell myself a winter story

 G C/G G
I'm no longer anyone's little guy.
 Em9 D/F# C/G (3X2010)
And my idol is on the bench
 Em9 D/F# C G Am
I've had my share of bad stories and good times
           Em D/A (X0023X)
I have a wife and children

 G C/G G
But every autumn when the weather gets shorter
 Em9 D/F# C/G (3X2010)
I see the winter I grew up in
 Em9 D/F# C G Am
And I dash out into the silence, the ice is smooth
           Em D/A (X0023X)
I skate until the end of the night

This is really gorgeous. I love the harmony vocals.

And, I'm going to have to drag out my melodica. It sounds great here.

Really knocked out by this.

Good song and performance. Wish I could finger-pick like that. Really well done.

Taking a break from work with a strong coffee, and this is a lovely piece to relax to. Just beautiful. The playing, vocals and harmonies are absolutely brilliant. I love that wistful / slightly melancholic melody too.

Thank you Stephen,
thank you Greeny
