Trevor put a solo version of this up on the collab board looking for some additions.  I hadn't heard the original and, to my shame, I didn't recall the Led Zep version even though I bought most of their albums on vinyl - and later CD.  The old grey matter is not what it once was.  Anyway - Trevor's version
really grabbed me and I thought it would be great to do a bit of a production on it. Hardlock got in first as I struggled with the intonation.  Many of my virtual orchestral instruments aren't great when you fiddle with the tuning.  Trevor kindly allowed me to do the musical production first and then redid his blistering vocals over the top.

I deliberately didn't listen to either Hardlocks version or Zeps (even though I really wanted to!) until I finished my backing tracks.  Once I have posted this I will get onto it and hope I haven't ripped either of you off!

I really enjoyed doing this and hopefully you will like it.  I cut it down a bit but still had to post it at 128kbps to make it fit but hopefully it won't suffer too much.

Just wanted to let you know I listened to this and it's epic. Bloomin' epic. But it will take me a while to get my comments together, so I will be back.... Need more listens!

Well I'm back, been listening to this for a while. I'm calling it the horny version and I must say I thought the brass section really made this. Gives it a great punchy feel and the ideal bedrock for another of Trev's fantastic vocals. The arrangement is very cool and gives a very different feel to this track. However, I have to say all the guitar parts really blew me away. I luuuuurve all the parts that start to build up around 3:14 and the sweep arpeggio (or whatever it's called) at 4:33 made me jump out of my chair, really tasteful and clever playing following that as well. Awesome stuff Paul.

Superb chaps, just superb 8)

This was an easy listen. Sounding good throughout. The vocals are great and I was really digging the guitar leads.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Creative arrangement. Breathes new life into the tune. Love the horns and touch of strings. Awesome guitar work, and of course Trev's vocal. Nice work.
Besides Zep's version, check out some the old versions from Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, etc.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

OMG this is amazing - you have both done a spectacular job on this!

ouch!...when the voice starts at 0:42...it makes you shudder.

I'll listen more like Nigel and I'll be back.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
