No Respect
I went to a club the other night.
Wanted to party, didn't want to fight.
I moved to the bar where the ladies hang out.
I was checking it out with a friendly look about.
I offered to buy a drink for this pretty little thing
She hit me with an insult that had a real sting
I took a step back to re-group and reflect
A real tough crowd ...... I can't get no respect

Now it's on to the dance floor to show some fancy moves
Hoping to catch an eye as I got into my groove
The dance floor opened up and I saw a lady grin
Then the music stopped as I was in full spin
The laughter began to grow to the point of being loud
But I was still movin' and groovin' out proud
I took a step back to re-group and reflect
A real tough crowd ..... I can't get no respect (No, No, No Respect)
(solo)
I needed a break, to get some fresh air
To keep my spirits up and not become despaired
I leaned against the wall wondering what is next
Something good happened that I didn't expect
She walked over and said hey there handsome
Is this spot being held for a pretty ransom?
I took a step back to re-group and reflect
This crowd ain't so tough..... I just got some respect (Yes, Yes, I got some respect)
(outro solo)

Nice rocker with good lyrics, Farrell et al. You guys work well together.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Loved it , great story and the music is just ACE , guitar work and solo is really really good , and fits perfectly with the music , cant remember the last time i tried to dance or went to a place the people dance in, but it brought a smile to my face after listening to the lyrics , anyway sounds like you "copped off" ( liverpool saying)

Fabulous work with the concept, and the brilliant guitar / composition

The Cuzins should definitely be a permanent fixture! Loving this one, it really rocks along and the lyrics are great fun, very clever. The lead guitar work is fab, your vocals are great as always and I really liked the piano in the background driving everything along. Beautifully mixed and produced as well, always a huge pleasure to listen to your stuff Farrell.
