A few days ago I did a cover of a French song by Maxime Leforstier "passer ma route" and upon learning it I found some harmonic simile with a song I knew "I shall be released" by Bod Dylan,
so I decided to do the two songs so that you realize  ;)...well, it's tenuous, it's not plagiarism of one over the other just a harmonic sequence: I, IIm, IIIm, IV...

in this song,  it is my daughter who sings and I am very happy to publish it on SC...it seems that the parity man/woman on SC is not reached: there are only two women, if I am not mistaken, who publishes on SC...

I took a lot of pleasure to make a second part with the LapSteel of my son-in-law Guillaume: it is an 8 strings, here tuned in C6: G A C E G A C E

and I realized that it's a lot easier to play just because of the longer pitch than on my 6-string lap still, with which I'm always a bit "out of tune"...it's crazy that...

Beautiful JP, how lucky you are to have such a talented family in addition to your own talent. This is a delightful version, the combination of the guitars really suits the way you did this and the vocals and harmonies are sublime. I really liked the vocal only part at around 3:35, very impressive.

A real pleasure to hear a family making such lovely music. Bravo!

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

Everything about this is absolutely stunning!  ESPECIALLY the Vocals!  Just great, the beauty it really gives me shivers as I listened!   And as usual masterful accompaniment by you on multiple types of guitars.  This is a really special one, probably my favorite I've heard from you yet.  It helps that I love this song, especially the cover of it by the "band".

Lovely interpretation of the classic Dylan song. Vocals are so sweet and nice tasteful guitar playing. Love that lap steel - très bien.
