A week or so ago when I posted my Eater cover I noticed there is a 90s fest and it so happened I had a cover of the Supergrass song Alright in the works. I'm having a bit of a 90s nostalgia thing at the moment.

So I've worked it up to an instrumental piece. I did have a vague idea about adding a vocal but that was never really going to happen.

We have a core of ukes with some GB adornments

This is fantastic.

There must be someone with the right voice to do the vocal.

But, honestly, if you know the song, the vocal is supplied by the imagination anyway because the song is so tuneful.

..................c'est magnifique mon ami!

...I don't know this song but it's true that we would like a sung version, if nobody on SC does it, I'll watch it on YT
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Very intricate! I'm interested in hearing more about the GarageBand adornments - something sounds like some type of slide guitar (very Hawaiian, with the ukes).

Great uke ensemble. Not familiar with the tune, but really enjoyed it.
There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.

I like using the World instruments.  There are two tracks of Japanese Koto and one Chinese Pipa, which the one that sounds a bit like a violin that carries the melody. And then there's upright bass.

If you've seen the film Clueless, you might have heard the original there (about a minute into this clip)

Wasn't expecting this Nick, what a unique and inspired cover! Really well done, inventive, beautifully played and nicely arranged and produced. Bravo!
