Off their 3rd album Flood released in 1990...30 years ago! Seemed quite topical. Was very inspired after listening to so many great tunes here this morning. Just me & my Kala Archtop Tenor Uke. LITLR at the kitchen table. Learned and recorded in about 20min. BR80

You have gotta love a bit of They Might Be Giants.

This always makes me smile. You've done a great job.

I can't believe it's a uke and a voice. Superb - and on the kitchen table! Probably with the kids popping in and out asking for batteries.

Brilliant.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

This was on a mixed tape I did for road trip with my new GF.

Seems my courting skills were up to par as she is still my road trip partner (and everything else partner) 30-something years later!

Cool song.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Brilliant, Hook.  I don't think I know the original but this is great.  Your voice really drives this and the attack of that uke is phenomenal.

Love it

What a bang on set of lyrics as well.
I havent heard the original but I dont need to now.
Youve sold it to me hook.
Racism, I hate every thing about it.
It should be one world one big family.
Nothing fills my heart more with happiness when I see children of all races playing together and just being human to human.
The adults in this world could learn alot from children.
Well done hook, great to hear that voice again.

Fantastic! I didn't know the song previously, but it definitely has that unmistakable TMBG vibe. Uke sounds great, and your vocals are out of this world!

Sadly, the subject matter remains topical to this very day. But songs like this make me feel hopeful that one day things will get better again.

Uke on!

Not familiar with the original, but a cool tune, and certainly topical (unfortunately).
Nice intimate version, and your voice is stunning. Well done!
