I was probably expecting too much but does anybody have any idea why this song does not play properly all the way through?

No peace for the wicked, do the guilty get to sleep.
In the eye of the beholder, see the beauty skin deep.
Sit around the television; hear the knocking on the door.
It's the game show religion and the crime d' l'amour.

See the old moon shining,
See the new sun rising,
Got it stamped on your ticket,
No peace. No peace for the wicked.

No peace for the wicked, and when you're living on the street.
You gotta keep your wits about you, gotta think upon your feet.
And you gotta be clever, to live your life outside the law.
And you never, never, never, commit the crime d' l'amour.

See the old moon shining,
See the new sun rising,
Got it stamped on your ticket,
No peace. No peace for the wicked.

No peace for the wicked, the devil watches for his own.
Birds of a feather stick together, until the cows come home.
You're yelling at me from your favourite chair
Maybe you even think I might really care?

See the old moon shining,
See the new sun rising,
Got it stamped on your ticket,
No peace. No peace for the wicked.

Flash Harry

Hi Ray, welcome to our community, that's a really nice song you have posted here, very well played and recorded, the production is very professional. I enjoyed listening.

Theres is a glitch with some browsers, safari mainly, that doesn't seem to be able to play the tracks all the way to the end. It's been a pretty constant source of irritation, I was using Chrome when I listened to your track and it played all the way through.

Please introduce yourself,  there's an introduction section on the board and a few bits of housekeeping. We're a friendly bunch, only the Scots here bite.

We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Oh YEAH!

An instant "I'm going to like this" when it started up.
And every single bit lives up to that initial promise.

Love the slide. Love the organ. Cool song. Cool Vox. And that harp...

It's a smooth ride with a certain grittiness - it has plenty of attitude in all the parts.

Very nice blues here Ray, great sounds all round, lovely slide playing and great vocals with some pretty cool lyrics. I really liked the organ and harp solos, and the little breakdown before each solo worked really well, created some nice tension and buildup to each solo. I didn't want the harp solo to end, you faded out too early.

Do tell us a bit more about how you did this - is it all you or did some buddies help out? Interested to know what gear you used to record and mix it as well.

And welcome of course! Nice way to introduce yourself.

Great work! Love the instrumentation, great playing. Excellent lyrics, and your voice carries them well.
Played all the way through for me on Firefox.

Welcome!

Thanks very much for the kind words, guys; much appreciated. I'm still trying to navigate my way around the site and once I'm more familiar with everything I'l be able to be more interactive. Thanks again.

Welcome Ray!

Well written song and I really like the atmosphere of it. Humming on the background sounds so good. Everything works on this! So well sung and played!
