I'm sure there are bits where you're thinking "I could've got this out more", or "ouch! I thought I'd sorted that bit"... but as a listener I'm going "yeah groovy" and hitting play again.

Excellent work Mike, this version really sounds great. Subtle changes but this is more melodic and dynamic.

Now, having said that, here's what I would tweak..........................nothing! It's done, nice work!!!

This is so commercial it really should be on prime time radio/streaming whatever.

played this for my wife who is a pro keyboardist...and she really doesn't like most music I like but she really like this...and so do I for many reasons....I already mentioned the happy whistle...I forgot to whistle through life...I got too many gadgets so thanks for that....and the lyrics are fantastic... you have a fan in NC in the US... and I am sure I'll never get to all your stuff but thanks...

yes yes yes loved it , second recording was the best for me , ORH vocal always has that tone and honesty about it , very well put together and recorded brilliantly , great work lads

I just came upon this and just wanted to say that it's a really awesome song, very well written and composed, and the keyboards bass, and vocals really stand out to me. In fact this is so good, that it is the drum sounds which seem lower quality and that might deserve to be improved, If there was someway to do that

I like the jangle of the guitars and the melody works very well with the vocal. I like this track. All that being said, it's the lyric that I like the best. Well, I like how honest it feels just as much.
