I effin' love whimsical British psychedelia, and this one floats my boat right up the river and way out into the open sea. Love the sound of that 12 string and the lyrics are wonderful. The opening lines just set the whole song up superbly and drew me right in straight away. The descending sequence works really well and I really liked the extra vocal flourishes around 2:40 and towards the end.

Maybe the bass and the vox could be a little higher in the mix for me, but who cares. I loved it!

Brilliant... this is one of your best Tim IMO... that intro riff is brilliant... kind of strange and intriguing. It's a real mix of fees and styles... I am getting that British slightly psychedelic feel but a touch of pop and also a rocky edge. I am getting a vibe of the Kinks which is great... all those harmony vocals are superb.
