My idol is Jahia, thank you. This was several years ago, but I think I remember. The guitars are a Jay Turser Strat copy, and an Ibanez GAX-30. Bass is a Squire P-bass. The organ and horns are played on my Yamaha Motif ES (I think I used the BC-3A breath controller for the horns on this), and the drums are Roland V-drums. This was recorded on my BR-900CD.

Don't know the original, but love the funk-blues groove of this. There's a lot of great instrumental touches - fab sax and hammond breaks. It's a big and very slick production, and I really like the 'live' vibe you added.

Great work Frank, a really polished cover and a great JJ Cale feel. I will say (like I just said in the originals board) what a great combo of keys and guitar! Really enjoyed this one.

Love JJ Cale (RIP) and this is a very pro-level cover.   That breath controller synth playing is awsome - really sounds authentic.  And the organ is great too.  How do you play so many instruments all so well?
