Oldie I found in the dungeon...

I must have been possessed for this one cause I can't remember making it....  :o

Demonized
----------------------------------------
Your demon's coming and it's after your soul

No point in crying as you know it's your toll

You should have listened to that angel of death

But now you're gonna breath your very last breath
------------------------
The master hates it when you cross his demands

Now he will find you just as fast as he can

Don't even think that you can slither away

He has come knock'n and is planning to stay
------------------------
The darkness came to serve your, ever-y wish

Now will be serving you-up as the main dish

You knew the rules when you decided to play

Too late to hope that now you won't have to pay
   ------------------------
You're being de-mon-ized, I've seen it all before

Now you'll be neu-tral-ized, into less than that of gore

You have been de-mon-ized, your soul he's come to take

You should now re-al-ize, you made your last mistake
   -----------------------
You're being de-mon-ized, he's knocking at your door

He's come to terr-or-ize, that monster told of lore

It's time to fi-na-lize, the life you have on loan

Don't try to ra-tion-alize, the evil that you own

A great Alter Ego song for the Fest. ! You did go to the darkside with the lyrics but you did it well! A cool guitar solo to break up the spooky vocal. Well done!

Sorry. All festival submissions must be new recordings made specifically for the festival, so any recordings made before the festival started don't qualify.

Opps, guess I should have read the rules first.  :-[

Sorry about that. Was going through some old songs and thought it would be a good candidate.

A great song with a bit dark lyrics, their fit well on the atmosphere of music. At around 1:50 I got a prog rock vibe...sounds so good!

By the way, are the drums real? If not, they are so well programmed....

Fine work Ken, although it didn't qualified for the fest!

Thanks all! (and sorry 64 :-[

Redler, I believe those drums are live but highly processed. Same with the vocal obviously. I was with an agent group called "Taxi" out of Hollywood that sends out requests for different material. Normally I wouldn't write anything like this but hey, to get discovered....::)

Nice track Ken, a bit different but very atmospheric and it all hangs together very well. I like the way the bass and guitars combine.

That's dark, man! The Vincent Price half-spoken vocal works well, and the guitar work has a great muscular groove to it. Excellent work.

Lovely job Ken, love that heavy bass, nice and dark, even sounds a little reggae/clubby even. Vocals work well... I like the "life you have on loan" line.
