Sprocket

It seems Im always a lil late.

Nice forum yall've got here, Ive been making myself familiar around here for a little under 2 months now.
I bought my BR off Craigslist used, I bought it cause my rythms(cant even spell it without spellchack) need work and Ive got poor timing, so I got it for the trainer features...my loopstation and metronome werent cuttin it. My MBR it made it through the Craiglister's demo but then I realized the DC power wasnt working once I got it home...familiar with forums, I did a google search and found some nice tutorials on Youtube which lead me to here, and I was able to get an idea of what could be wrong with my MBR, I called Roland for service and sent it in...the wait did me good, and before I even cracked the manual I was find answers to recording questions I never even knew I had...the features of this lil box were unfolding at a mad clip in front of my eyes. Im almost overwhelmed with features...and Im likin it! Its opening up worlds to me and I feel Im going to get a better understand of music than I even imagined.

Im even stoaked about the modeling, and I hate modeling! Its just so damn easy, fun and convenient! I thought I was just gonna buy the $5 Sony mic and mic my tube amps...who needs em!? Im stoked with my Bassman model...I had to force myself to put time in on my ACTUAL BAssman last night! I wanna plug in to my BR!
And I frequent so many guitar forums...Im tempted to recommend an MBR to anybody looking for an amp!
I could go on for ever, Im just amazed at this "Swiss Army knife" of guitar tools I think everybody should have one...the world would be a much better place...now ponder that for a min!
But I am so amazed, I want to buy a second one...to let all my friends borrow it, maybe a month each...just to see what they come up with, the features they goto, the creativity that comes out...

...I really think the marketing of this is thing just terrible! Everybody should have one!

Does it always fall on deaf ears for you too?
I keep talkin bout it, but its like its awesome-ness just isnt conveyed in normal speach.
Its like, "Hello...its sliced bread!?"

BTW Greeny, Peter Green is one of my absolute favs...and "Greeny", well there just isnt another Les Paul like it, love that out of phase tone...and I really enjoyed your cover of "Need Your Love So Bad", thanks for sharing that.

I'm impressed you found that! Thanks! And not forgeting that Wichita did a fantastic job on the lead guitar part. Yes... he's a real guitar hero of mine. I've been tempted to buy one of those Vintage 'Lemon Drop' Les Pauls copies which has the out of phase 'buckers and is a subtle nod to Greeny's guitar. Just can't justify another guitar though!!!!

How could I miss it?
Ive really been doing alot of reading(and listening) around here, before posting...I dont wanna fill this place up with a bunch of redundant posts that have been covered already. Ive made it bout 1/2 way through the MRB General section....kinda seems like Im bout 9 months behind most of yall with this MBR stuff.

BTW Im really impressed with the rate of new songs being posted...WOW!!!
I dunno how soon I will be posting, but the lessons "48" has sent me are looking like they are going to give me a nice lil push to do so...so you may hear from me sooner than later.
