NEW VERSE remasterised with reloaded video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgDfErv_I7M

It's a double tribute to Paul Simon and Josh Turner
it's after hearing the cover version of Josh Turner on YT that I wanted to play it, and especially after seeing his very nice tutorial that I highly recommend if you like the finguer picking guitar
I remastered the song because I realized that the output volume was way too low in the first version I made

the story
I remember when I heard the Simon and Garfunken concert in Central Park, I was in my car and the radio played the whole concert!...I stopped at the side of the road to listen...I was amazed by the quality of the sound of the musicians accompanying them (and by the voices of course)
..and so at one point Paul Simon sang (alone) "Still crazy after all these years", I had never heard that song before...
..and since then, I've loved this song a lot.
I tried to cover it again after hearing Josh Lee Turner's version who made a cover of it with just a guitar accompaniment in Drop D
Not easy... but I found a full transcript of the guitar score on YT.

If someone wants to try to do the vocals (better than me, I'm a pietre singer!) I can send him the guitar file in MP3 or Wave... ;)

Iput clip on YT, just because the sound format is in .Wave, better result? the images in the video have nothing to do with the song...
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Good job JP... that sounds like a very tricky one to play, but sounds like you nailed it to me. That type of guitar playing and chord structure is on another level, so hats off to you for a fine performance.

thank you guys,

It's been a little bit laborious, I was able to do it from the tablature record on YT.

...and you have to listen to the cover of the excellent Joshua Lee Turner...

I prefer this style to the original. Much more intimate. Some fantastic playing again - and I love the recorded tone you get from those nylon strings. Fine work.

TPB

Always loved these guys and the playing is outstanding well done brother

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

I really like this song too!

I love your playing - the guitar sounds beautiful - and the vocals are excellent.

Lovely version JP. It's the guitar playing and sound of the guitar that really made this one for me. Beautiful playing and you captured the sound really well in the recording. Great work.

thank you guys

Yes, for me too, it was the arrangement of the guitar part (by the wonderful young Josh Turner) that prompted me to do this song.
