Here's another collaboration with Lorne Reid and myself called Inspiration. Lorne did the music and I added the lyric, vocal and short guitar solo. I also mixed it.
Inspiration

You are with me most of the time
A gentle breeze helps me unwind
It seems whatever I do
You are with me and I'm with you

Sometimes you hide away
Other times you go astray
But at the end of the day
You knock on my door to play

You're my inspiration, You're my ringing chime
You make the songs resonate and rhyme.....

You are my musical muse
Where you come from, I have no clue
In an instant you're mine to use
In an instant you go as you choose
Sometimes you hide away
Other times you go astray
But at the end of the day
You knock on my door to play

(Short guitar solo)

You're my inspiration
You make the songs resonate and rhyme

Oh Wow!

I love it.

Love the way it moves, the change of pace and the rock up in your face of the middle of it.

Marvellous!

Impressive song and performance! Didn't see the mac-truck coming and got rolled over with it's heaviness.  Great contrast yet flowed nicely between parts.

Stunning song! This is a shortened prog rock song, so many parts in 2 mins 40 seconds. That's amazing job by both of you!

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Very good indeed Farrell. I love the changes in mood and tempo (appeals to the proghead in me) and the guitar sounds are great. Very clever use of the stereo spectrum, I love the wide open feel of this and the way some of the guitar parts move from side to side.

All of this coupled with great lyrics and vocals makes for an absolute peach of a track. Fab work!

Haha... that put a big smile on my face. Cool song and fabulous guitars in the (unexpected) heavy section. Reading the comments, it's grabbing others the same way.

There are little hints and warnings in the track leading up to the rockier section but, even knowing it's coming, it's still a big SMILE moment when it hits.

For some bizarre reason my previous comment on this wasn't actually for this song! Some kind of brain-glitch on my part. Love the way this goes from a gentle Sunday drive into total mayhem at the flick of a switch. Both sides of the split personality are great. Love that last solo part. Brilliant trip.
