on the harmonica, I'm not Toots Thielemans (great chromatic harmonicist of Belgian jazz), nor Charly Mac Coy (great American diatonic harmonicist). :)

In fact I always thought that the harmonica played in "once upon a time in the west" was a diatonic harmonica..., Charles Bronson on the film footage actually plays a diatonic harmonica that looks like a Marine Band...but on the soundtrack, on the recording it was indeed a chromatic harmonica! ...like in the live synphonic versions (listen to the beautiful version played by the Danish National Synphonic Orchestra https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efdswXXjnBA

Anyway I had a lot of fun making this little cover and for the moment I looked for wind and wind wheel sounds, and on the keyboard I played the strings and the French Horn, the guitar theme is played with the telecaster, and the theme (normally sung in female voice) is played with my 48 holes chromatic harmonica Thoman.
I added two weissenborn tracks to the intro., and arpegio on theme are played with my Nylon Hirade Takamine

Thank you guys for listening
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Fab version JP and very, very creative. I love how you put this together and it sounds fantastic. I though the harmonica playing was pretty darned good!

Wonderful musicianship and atmosphere. The harmonica playing is incredible. Such a great piece of music and a fine tribute to the man himself.

This sounds great, and very interesting.  You use a lot of interesting instruments and play them all well.  I think you also could do a great job making soundtracks for movies!
