Thanks chaps, this did turn into a bit of a production job. I had to watch a lot of videos about how to eq synths to tame the excesses of the SY-1.

Cuthbert, it's a great pedal. The only drawbacks are that it's mono (so you need stereo effects to add to it) and the sounds can be a bit harsh (hence you need to be good at eq!). But if you want to get easily usable synth sounds from a guitar, it can't be beat IMO. Tracks really well.

This is great Nigel... love it. I am getting some proggy influences in here too. I love those sharp bits of lead guitar that punctuate it in parts. Got a lot going on here... retro feel, electronica, prog. Just very very cool indeed.

Bump for you great bit of work and recording , i picked up on the synth pedal you used in the the keyboard tracks SY 1 , BOSS , i must check that out , and a recommendation from yourself is even more of a temptation , i really enjoyed the track , and your production , excellent recording brill
