Lovely to hear from you again Willie, this is a superb track. Lovely melodic playing and a really good groove, I've had it looping for ages and have been swaying along to it in my chair. The leads are refined, restrained and beautifully played, and it's also a great mix. Everything's nicely balanced and it all comes across extremely well through my monitors. Well done!!

I hear you about the arthritis. I was trying to play some stuff using a few C chord shapes and some barre chords, and after about 10 minutes my fingers were really hurting. It's mainly just single/two string stuff for me from now on.....

I've been going through some arthritis type stuff over the last few years... enough to even go to the doc who referred me to one of the ology departments (I've been to nearly ALL of them now!! ). They found some severe degeneration... in my FEET!!... but "reasonable wear-and-tear" in my hands (which is what I went in for). Since then, my feet (which I had no issues with as far as I knew) hurt like buggery... but my hands have stopped pissing me off!

It's only a matter of time, though!

Yep, love the playing on this track - "no pain no gain", yep (I've still got blisters on my right hand fingers from loads of slide playing a week ago)
