Started off with drums, synths - it was all built around that 1/16 arpeggiator stuttering down the middle - and heavy guitar (right channel) from me. Then James did his vocals. Then Mike added the left channel guitar, bass and some extra synth. Mike also did the final mix & production.

I'm sure James will post the lyric at some point.

Going to the social isolation
Discotheque
We're all dancing
Two metres apart
It's a bring your own bottle
Social affair
Remember to keep your mask on
It's de rigueur

Going to the social isolation
Discotheque
The queue's around the block
And around the next
It's a bring your own bottle
Social affair
Remember to keep your mask on
It's de rigueur

Going to the social isolation
Discotheque
Panic in the bathroom
Everyone's wet
There's no toilet tissue
Anywhere
So keep some on your person
Come prepared

Going to the social isolation
Discotheque
Going to the social isolation
Discotheque
It's a bring your own bottle
Social affair
Remember to keep your mask on
It's de rigueur
There's no toilet tissue
Anywhere
So keep some on your person
Come prepared

lyrics added. i was hoping to have everyone shouty singing "discotheque!" in unison. but i suppose it wouldn't be a social isolation disco then. First time i heard this i had my headphones up loud and nearly burst my ear drums. Be warned it's loud.

Blimey, this is waaaay big! Love the mahoosive synths underpinning this, what lovely rich sounds and great arpeggios. I also love whatever Mike does with the synths around 2:00, the extra layers sound great. But all the other stuff added in makes for a rich wall of sound that drives the whole song along. Great fun lyrics, and nice work rhyming "affair" with "de rigeur"  8).

Huge fun, really enjoyed this. Great subject matter, although my attempts at dancing always seemed to enforce social distancing among the opposite sex regardless of any virus.........

Loved this - BIG sound, and I always love the sound of sequenced synths with guitars. Couldn't be more timely - well done, gents!

Very slick production, if that an insult, it is not what I meant.  Love the guitar work and sound from the left.   And I don't remember it as such, but orh sounding so much like Dai Bowie, but I like it.
