I toyed around with that old song I wrote called, Come Alive.

Mainly, I just made it longer and added some other touches, Including new lyrics.

A great song Tom. Well played and sung. Guitar sound is really good and I wish you would bring the vox a bit more up in the mix, and cut back some of the reverb. even tho' it's a bit of a trademark for you I think this one could benefit from a more up-front vox.

cheers

Oh well ........

Rockatron

Hi!  Great song and amazing sounding music.  I would agree with the vox being a bit too distant and the music too prominent (though beautiful).  Can't wait to hear more from you.

Wow, I am impressed!  :o

I can't get over how much action there is here in the Micro BR section.  Amazing amounts of talent here.  This song is simply beautiful, TomH86.  Nice little chord progression, and more importantly, an awesome melody (sung very well) over the chords.  This is the type of music I would actually purchase -- and that is saying a lot because my album collection is so massive, I rarely buy anything anymore.  I can't wait to hear more from you.

PS: Make your way over to the BR-1600 section some day.  It's lonely over there!

It's beautiful. I agree the vocals could step forward a little, but then the fragility you capture so well might not work so well. It's a difficult balancing act I guess. This is one of your best, for me anyway. Lovely, lovely guitar work.

Wow - great job Tom!

this site is amazing - and i think that i rarely purchase music anymore either - but i would purchase the music i've been hearing on this site lately for sure - there's just so much great talent on here!

What a fantastic song and the chord progressions flow so well.

I actually like your vocals being low in the mix, as it has helped you create a distinctive unique sound of your own.

Well done, this is one of your best to date

Wow amazing tension! Great guitar playing!

The talking in the background in the beginning really adds something to the atmosphere!

Great job!!!
If you loose track over a chord progression, play as fast as you possibly can. Nobody will know. Thats how they invented bebop.

What a great song ,the vox are amazing , i love the atmosperic feel to the whole thing , wow , i think the depth of the vox in the mix gives the song more interest ,excellent.
