was messing about with my jasmine acoustic and this happened. acoustic wasn't happening when i hit record so plugged in tele and hey presto! my bass guitar is goosed, got a new one coming on tuesday but song couldn't wait so asked our good sir Flash Harry to add some bass.

anyroad up.

it is what it is.
Well here I am, lost again
I took a wrong turn, where? Or when?
But I'll just keep on, just keepin' on
Ever forward, onward
Into the sun
Into the sun

Lookin' lookin' for a guiding star
Something to hang, hang my hopes on
Crashing through the night, into the dawn
Ever forward, onward
Into the sun
Into the sun

Sometimes I don't know how
Sometimes I don't know when
Often I don't know why
Maybe it's time I called a friend

Well I know that life is good
If you're lucky just like me
If it's hard you'll need a friend
To take your hand and guide you
Into the sun
Into the sun
Into The Sun

Laid back summer feel on this fits well today's weather here...Well written and performed. Sir Flash's bass is always a pleasure to hear. So good pop song!

This is really nice Jim. Lovely guitar work and sounds, and I like the washy keys in the background. Mike's bass provides a great anchor and centres this nicely. It's really well put together and your vocals are coming through really nicely.

Had this looping for a while and it's great. Although I see there has been a new version posted by JK so I will be intrigued to hear that.....
