Chapperz66 made me recently want to buy the full BBC orchestra plugin, that is certainly a bad thing ... to punish him I asked him to arrange for orchestra a piano theme that I wrote, just to show what's the plugin worth ... I think he just went over adding guitar and other funny things LoL. So I decided to call our collaboration "Frankie meets the Orchestra", where Frankie (Paul) is the shred guitar hero that shows up in the middle.
Thanks Paul !

Very nice! This is full of proggy goodness. I wouldn't say Paul the shred turns up, more like Brian May at 2:20! Some lovely guitar sounds with very precise and controlled playing. This is a lovely piano piece and all of the additions take it in some very interesting directions. Very nice arrangements from Paul, great composing from Max and overall a fab listen. Bravo guys!

Fantastic. It get a very large Beatles vibe with this or would it be better to say a George Martin Vibe.....

Very well done and it really is a musical journey so congrats to both of you on a wonderful collaboration  ;)

This is wonderful. I agree with Dan - I can hear a bit of Beatles going on in the arrangement and chords. A bit like the middle section of 'Day in the Life' when that McCartney bounce kicks in. And then that guitar! Wow. Really nicely composed, arranged and performed. High class.

I definitely tried to channel my inner "Brian May" with the guitar solo part as it needed something a bit melodic - and I shamelessly lifted the last part from "Best Friend."   It had to have some guitar harmonies.  Hopefully Mr May won't sue me....
Max put me up for adding the guitar solo, but he didn't have to twist my arm.  I really should have changed my strings before doing this as the intonation is a bit approximate in places. That's my feeble excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I can only dream of sounding a bit like Mr Martin, but it was fun trying.  It was a good few hours work doing this as I used a few new Spitfire sample libraries and I had to try to work out how to use them and auditioning sounds - but it was great fun and thanks to Max for giving me a lovely piano piece to have a go at.

Well.... all I can say is outstanding everything!  Can't think of one thing I didn't like about this piece.  I'm seriously thinking that collaborations become much more than just the sum of the individual parts!

I got my copy of BBC orchestra plugin the other day and have been playing around with it.  This just shows me what can be done with it outstanding gents and the guitar added the icing on the cake

Kenny, Max and I discussed the possibility of vocals on this and I'm sure that he would be happy for you to go for it.
