Don't know if this is a double fester now. Covid19 collaboration. Anyroad up I did this one a few days back https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=29680.0 but I only heard the mistakes. thought it could be improved on. So i sent all the individual tracks to Flash Harry, he remixed the tracks and added some reso synth bass and i re-sang and tweaked the lyrics a bit. I think this might be the definitive version.

It is what it is.

Sunshine through the rain
A kaleidoscope of colour
Purple running into grey
Nothing really seems to matter
I wish the clouds would go away
See the sun in all it's glory
See the world as it's meant to be
Put all the leaves back on the trees

I wish that things could be the way
The way they always were x 2

I'd love a pint in a beer garden
Spend time with friends
A table in a restaurant
Good food and bonhomie
To feel the sand beneath my feet
And watch the waves roll in
To be somewhere I have never been
And try to learn the lingo

Now I'm getting older
My time is running low
There's still so much I want to do
With you and you and you
But everything's been put on hold
Our lives have been postponed
Lock-down cabin fever
I hope it's over soon

You can't put this down for a colab - all I did was twiddle a few knobs and push a couple of buttons..
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

I didn't hear the first version, but this one seems very complete.

Yes, the definitive version. Vocals are much clearer and there's also more space and depth in the synths. Still a lovely calming ambient-y piece of music. Nice one chaps!

Great collab sometimes all a song needs is for someone to push the buttons vocals were very expressive

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Beautiful guys, that synth is spot on, perfect for the vocal. This is perfect for drifting off to... not in a beer garden unfortunately, but happy enough on my sofa with a whiskey and coke. Fab.
