Hey, I missed this first time round, and Tims original. Thanks for putting the link in, 48.
Real laid back track, great.
PJ---------------You realise you're not going to get away now? Be sending you some more to work on soon ;D

Nice one :)

I had to do some research to find out what/who was on here (the track was going around a while before I joined so I wasn't familiar with it) - but I found it all, Greeny's post, the other versions...

I really wasn't sure which guitars I was supposed to be picking out when I first listened to it ???... I couldn't spot any that sounded particularly "first attempt"  8)

- but now that I know which ones are you, congratulations - GREAT JOB!!  ;D

And it's really after only 3-4 remote lessons?  :o

48 you're giving all our "geetar-secrets" away! We can't have everyone finding out it's this easy to do!!  ;) :D

Aw jeez guys your embarrassing me  ::).  I might have been 3 or 4 lessons but it's taken at least 2 months to do them.  since Easter.  Thank you all for your comments.  And yes isn't it neat that 48 actually on-line tutored me.  He made everything sound and feel simple.  Don't know how to describe it.  Basic charts and his playing and my mimicing I guess you could say. Whatever I think he is wonderful to have helped me. I am very humbled as I know I am no-where as good as any of you guys.  But I'm plugging away. And you will probably get more. Thanks Again. :D

I have been off the site for a week, and man have I missed a lot!!!  Time to catch up.  Now on to this post, you have the touch, tone and timing and bends already worked out after only 3 lessons!!!.  It was already inside you Wiley, you are born to play the blues, no turning back now.  Really great sounding blues licks.  Keep at it, the blues is one satisfying style to play for sure!!!!!  I really enjoyed hearing this.

Yes Kody it was on my G&L,  48 had mentioned somewhere that he like Big strum, the neck pickup or both, and roll the tone back so that's what I did!

And thankyou Bluesberry for your response from a true blues person, You and 48 have both inspired me tremendously. I got my new lesson now have lots more work to do this weekend. LOL

3 - 4 lessons?  Are you f-ing kidding me???  Yet another serious blues guitar prodigy in the forum!  Just awesome, wiley.  Are you normally a bassist?  I saw some tracks posted using a blues bassline from you, didn't I?  That was sweet as well.

And that's some damn-fine teaching from 48! 8)

GREAT WORK!! :)
