I was conscious all the while that i was to keep this as close to the original as possible. This is a re worked version with extra lyrics added as the previous version pretty much repeated the same two verses and chorus. I really should've taken more time and care with the lyrics in my younger days but as with everything when you're younger the pace of life is just so much faster and there's no time for little things like lyrics. Its finally finished and only took 24 years.

This is a great way for a 48 year old man to learn how to use VST's Virtual Drum Machines etc. I never thought id get the hang of it but i really do feel that i am getting somewhere now.

(Check out the original 24 year old live version also on my jukebox)

Hook

I love the energy to this pop/punk power jam. Its sounds clean and tight, nice work.
Rock on!

Ah this is right up my street Dan. Garage-y power pop with a punky edge. You kept this fairly simple but very effective. It all sounds great, the drums fit in brilliantly and you've mixed everything together really well. I think the vocal take suits the track and I loved the chorus-y guitar at the end.

A great energetic song that really had me wanting to leap around. Nice one!

Greeny

I was nodding along and tapping my foot from the off. I love everything about it. It has a proper 60's garage band pysch vibe but with added punk attitude. Fantastic performance too.

Ou jee! This is wonderful! Like CCR meets Ramones. ;D  Vigorous!

Redler

This song is right up on my street! Cool power pop attitude with a tasty punky flavor and so catchy number! Superb job, Dan!

Thanks for the comments again guys, they are always appreciated :) Im using a few of my old songs to get me used to the recording process. Im finding it really helps to stick to the original flavor of the songs as that way you can get on with learning how each thing works rather than just accepting happy accidents that often come up when recording a song they can sometimes change the whole style and flow of a song that way at least i know if i want a certain sound i can achieve it...................................EVENTUALLY (lol)

Ive just spent nearly 3 days perfecting a drum track for a song but i bloody well got there in the end  ;D

Fantastic, Danny - digging the high energy and crispy guitars. Drums and vox are right on, too.
