This tune has taken a long time...certainly for me. I've been fiddling around with the chords and riff for weeks. Started putting down tracks over a week ago & finished today.
I have been listening to quite a lot of Traffic lately and this has that influence I think, especially with the extended jazz outro.
The drums are my cocktail kit in the garage using the BR80 mics,U- bass is going through the br80, extreme distortion patch. The organ, flute & pseudo saxaphone are all my EWI5000.

This is very cool Hook....a different direction for you but it's working well to my ears. All the tracks blend so well with one another. I love the chorus and all the layered voices...top notch!

Again the work that you have put into this is superb and its great the way you have tracked this song is really impressive. I find the more instruments i use the harder i find it to place them in the mix and you have done a great job. Im really getting a Bowie vibe from this song. Different and adventurous and you have pulled it off

This works a treat you can hear the desperation in the vocal and the instrumentation Bravo ! Hope you get out of this one and find the right groove to get in for you.. well worth the work put in

You clearly got stuck in a groove while creating stuck in a groove! But the groove you created is a very cool one, laid back with that organ underpinning a psychedelic feel. I just love the EWI additions, they sound great and add a lot to this. The vox and harmonies are really good, very well handled and the lead vox is great, very powerful.

I liked being stuck in this groove a lot. Traffic, very cool influence indeed. Many happy memories, the first album I bought (aged 10, went halves with my older brother) was Mr. Fantasy.

I like this groove alot...You can get out of it when you do your first stop...The piece to the puzzle is there.  You just gotta find it, if you wanna...You may just want to stay there, & that is okay as you said you finished it...

Wasn't sure whether I was liking this at first, and then that chorus arrived - Oh YESS....

It all made sense.

It's kinda both claustrophobic and agoraphobic at the same time... wow... (I'm in head phones and somewhat tipsy... it's a bit of a trip! ).

Love the coda... kinda gives me redemption and release.

One of my favorite tunes ever is Freedom Rider, always has to be cranked if it comes on the radio (Not very often anymore). Your arrangement is great, and I love the lead vocals. You are an amazing talent my man!

Listened to this first time, yesterday and enjoyed it a lot. So well written and arranged with so many instruments. Psychedelic jazzy feel! The outro works so nicely, too. The shortest six and half minutes of my life...Rock on!
