Kind of an instrumental but has a vocoder section and a Quixote quote.

Whatya think?

On a day when it seems the world is burning with hate and burning literally, this was a lovely respite. Really tasteful and classy, and builds up in an interesting way. I like all the different elements, and the spoken word part is great.

Cool instrumental, I Like it when the vocoder part comes in.
The bit at the start is a great part in itself before the tempo changes and comes in.
Nice work.

Propably you haven't heard about Finnish prog rock band Wigwam ('70s), but reminds about their music. Very fine job here and the vocoder sounds great!

Very cool and open sounding track (says he, in a box room - the "Broom Cupboard" - with the curtains drawn and the fairy lights on... can't be doing with this sunlight stuff!)

It feels very fresh and "open air"... in a good way.

Nice one.

Great piece John... great to hear a well done instrumental. The keyboards bring a bit of early Marillion to mind. It's a great sound, and those other touches are great with the vocoder and spoken part.

John, this is quite wonderful, probably my favourite from you. I love the arrangement and the synth sounds, they are so rich and really evoked the sounds of many bands from the 70s for me (see comment below). Overall it's a clever and very enjoyable track and the vocoder section works really well. Lovely stuff.

Wigwam were (and still are) one of my favourite bands and Kari is right, there's a lot of similarity. You've captured the quirky jazz-rock feel of much prog rock music that I used to love in the 70s. This also reminded me of British bands like Caravan and Hatfield and the North (well worth checking out if you don't know them John).

Hey, Greeny, Kenny, Redler, Dan, Andy, Mike & Ferryman-Thanks so much!
I must admit I had some reservations about the vocoder (Vocalsynth by Izotope) because it makes me sound somewhat feminine, but I've come to live with it.

I never heard of the bands you mention, I'm embarrassed to say, but I'm going to check them out.
