Started off with two (or three? I was drunk) layers of my Danelectro Hornet (really like the butter-knife tremolo arm on that guitar) and Garageband drums. Then Mike did his bass groove (he was drunk) at the same time that James (he was drunk) was synthesising our emails and conversation into a lyric. Then Mike (sober... I think) went all Starsky and Hutch / Huggy Bear on the lead synth.

Very spontaneous. Very fun.

See what you think  8) ::)
ORH here as Tim says lyric based on the following emails which i sang verbatum.

Hopefully something everyone can add too. I was trying to turn the end into (the start of) an extended freakout.

See what you think.

James

More of the lockdown pissed for me, this is quality, head boobing along great driving stuff, the bass and snyth just too cool along with the stream of consciousness vocal, qualify!!

We all need an extended freakout from time to time! This is great fun, I love the trippy feel anchored by nice bass work and some fab synth sounds. Mike is clearly putting that synth to good use, the synth lead is excellent. The chord sequence works really well, a really atmospheric progression and the concept of patching a fairly off the wall conversation into the lyrics works really well.

Potted tongue tins. Wasn't that a track by our friend "Small Tins of Fruit"?

I'm loving how folks is pulling inspiration out the most unlikely places, documenting the creative process in the creation, cannibalising stuff to make new stuff and getting fabby new instruments to make new old noises (I got one too! 8)) and... well... yeah...

This is fab, and a fine example of much that... And it's superb... excellent work chaps :D

I shall raise my metaphorical glass to... hang on, it's after noon, there's not a Zoom work meeting for over an hour now... maybe I could raise a real glass!

I´m confused. When I was listen this I really get feeling I´m drunk!?!  You really create state of mind of drank person. Psychedelic!
 I´m impressed!

That bass line is superb, it bubbles away in the background quite ominously and syncs with that wall of guitars brilliantly. I love when that extra overdriven guitar kicks in. Bit of an understatement but you guys work very well together!
