It's that one chord that does it for me. That unsettling, unresolved chord or whatever the musical term for it is. It's a very atmospheric piece and John's vocal on this is so good. Nicely done guys and the guitar and drums are nicely understated.

Jesus, this is great!  Thanks for bumping it Farrell as I missed it also. Outstanding in all regards! My only grip is that the leads are too short. Just as I recover from the shock of them starting, they're over. (They say keep them wanting more so that's good I guess?) I could listen to those tones & riffs all day! Wow!

I have this on my playlist from digging through their stuff back in September...but I guess I never bumped it or commented because sometimes I do so many ....but anyway, every now and again I have been listening to this for a while... these two have a special chemistry musically for sure...really good stuff...
