Epiphone Les Paul '56 Gold Top, Fender Jazz, and Garageband drums & synths. All recorded on the MBR with a sound clip added  in Audacity.

This is all about Victorians who liked to visit Bedlam mental hospital as a weekend attraction / day out.

I recently discovered my 13th great grandfather (who was Mayor of London at the time) was the one who established the Bedlam hospital after getting it handed over to London by Henry VIII. He was also Henry's financial adviser. Which is weird, because my collection of poetry published in 1998 was titled 'Mini Cab to Bedlam'.

You can hopefully hear most of the lyrics  ::) ;D

Flash Harry

I love the arrangement, the synths fill the soundscape and give the processed guitars space to swirl and chime.

The imagery in the lyrics is dark and pretty gruesome really, you're a weird bugger at the best of times lyrically, but this one takes the prize for this year's weirdest ... so far..

And what an cracker of a song, I love it.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

This is a killer song. Just a wonderful groove. Dark and dance-able. Great lyrics and vocals. Love it!

This is great Tim. The lyrics are fantastic i really enjoyed this song. really catchy Vocals and Guitar.

What an interesting family tree too. Its always intrigued me that they used to charge people to see the mentally ill in those days. What strange folk we are

Ferryman_1957

Love this one (it is familiar to me from Everbleak.... ;)). The snare sound, groove and flangy guitars are giving me a Cure kind of vibe but of course you take it in a completely different direction with the superb imagery and lyrics, as strong and imaginative as always. The rhythm guitar parts are fab, I really like the way you play these off against each rather than just doubling everything up, and there's a really strong melodic bass line in there as well. Very crisp and clear production as always, you really have mastered that (see what I did there?).

Twisted, macabre, imaginative and right up my street. Love it!

This one flows right along Tim. I like the chorusy, flangy, phasey guitars.....they give the song a dark sort of jangle and support the "strange days" lyric very well. You always add a unique bass line to your songs which sets them apart from the main stream. Well done on all accounts!
