40's Fest... This is a tune first recored by Tampa Red in 1940 but my version owes more to Gary Moore's version. Although I love Gary's version too I prefer the Tampa Red version... there is just something spine tingling listen to those really early recordings...

This is a cool bit of Rockabilly Mike! I don't know the original but your version got my feet tappin' along with the beat. Well done!

Test, test, one, two, three.....is this mic on?

I don't know the original - off to have a look, this is  a lovely recording and fresh and as up to date as anything. Loved the guitar playing, the vocals are smashing and I loved the litle embelishment lick and flam at the end. Magic, really nice.

Sounds so fresh. Really like the twang and swing of it. Don't know the original, but this is bloody fab. Brilliant performance.

I didn't know that song. Excellent, and so I listened to the Tampa version and the Gary Moore version.
I don't know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Missed this one Mike, glad I found it. Just love how all this fits together, vox, drums and guitars. Some great playing and great guitar sounds there and a really polished performance. A really enjoyable listen, had this going round for quite a while now and it's had me tapping my feet all the while. Very nicely done.

Man, that was so solid. Great tones, great performance, and a great recording. Love the ending the best.

I'm not familiar with the original either, but the performance by you puts my toe tapping on the floor! Bravo Mike!
