Ciao, here's a proposal for collabfest2. Your ideas are welcome whatever, even small chunks (just a little singing guitar solo, or a poly D synth riff or chords ;-) for example) or directions, I'll go mixing everything (you can even replace some of the backtrack instruments with real ones) ...

Finally got happy with a lead for this. All the time I was working on it, a melody haunted me from my past. After completed, my wife said "Hey that sounds like ?????".  Take a listen and "Name That Tune"!

I had never heard that song Mike... really nice....I got such a kick out of the "Disco Bar" sign on the wall at the bar though..... there must be more to that name than I know...  those crazy dancers though in the song looked a bit odd to me...more like something you might see in a B52s video.....
