Nice one :)

At first, as it started, the effect itself didn't particularly grab me. I had an "oh yeah?" chin-scratching face on :D

But as the track quickly built, I love what you've done with it.

Good find, and even better use of it to create something  :)

Thanks everybody for the nice comments!  8) I'm gonna try and address everyone in one post here because I'm excited to get playing some more.

Quote from: Greeny on May 26, 2009, 04:42:38 AMThat's definitely a cool effect. I can see all the possibilities this one opens up, so I can see why you're excited! Nice work. I think if it got slowed down, there would be some real prog / ambient landscapes to be had. Enjoy!!!!

Yeah I love electronic music so anything that can achieve such effects with a guitar is like the best of both worlds.

It's always fun to discover new sounds, I've been doing it for many years and it never stops being fun and interesting.

Quote from: launched on May 26, 2009, 08:39:06 AMAccidents are one of the best forms of music - repeatable ones are even better  :D.

I'll say! I've always been a big fan of delay and echo effects but I've never come across a repeating effect this cool. I'm excited to tweak it and make it even better!

Quote from: Bosko Schwartz on May 26, 2009, 11:33:40 AMSo this is the first Micro piece I have decided to listen to and comment on.  Joseph, I see that you, too, are a brand new member.  This place is awesome -- energetic and extremely positive and supportive, as I'm sure you've already found.

As for this Happy Accident, first, I love the title, as it makes me think of Bob Ross and his Happy Trees.  The delay effect you found is cool, but more importantly, what you DID with it is very cool.  I can definitely see this being a fully fleshed-out song with low-key vocals, drums, a sweet bassline, etc.  It already has the blueprint of a great song.  Can't wait to hear the finished version.

I am honored to be your first :-* and thanks! I am really liking the community here, it's very active and supportive. Not to mention the sheer talent emanating from this place.

I definitely plan to add to it and flesh it out further..

Haha, that sounds like my track record on first impressions. I am a bit of a head scratcher to people at first myself. :P Glad you liked what it built into, and thanks!

Phew, long post.. anyway I can't hold off any longer I wanna play with my new effect some more! Thanks again everyone.
