Messing about with my Harley Benton telecaster and MacBook again.

It is what it is.

been through a couple of mixes have now replaced original mix with what should be the final mix.
Controlled anxiety
But your heartbeat can still be heard
Can even be felt
I can see it pumping beneath your shirt
And the sweat on your brow
Is a dead giveaway
You're in panic mode
Fight or flight who's to know
Who's to care
Who's gonna be there when you really need them
No caped crusader to save the day
No super hero to catch you as you fall
No god no devil no angel by your side
At times like this you really need a friend

You can do this on your own
If that's what you believe
You can climb the highest high
Cross the tightrope barefoot
As long as you don't look down
Forward onward upward
On into oblivion
With a hop and a skip
A toss and a turn
But who's gonna be there when you really need them
No caped crusader to save the day
No super hero to catch you as you fall
No god no devil no angel by your side
At times like this you really need a friend

I really like the soundscape! Touch of psychedelic and a bit 80's post punk... Fine job, James!

Dreamy & lilting, but with a bit of anxious tension in the undertow. Excellent work.

I like the atmospherics of this track. I've been playing around with psychedelia sounds myself lately so this is right on the button for where i am. Great stuff

Yes. It's true. I see myself by some point of view.

Great lyrics that really sum up where we all are right now. A stream of consciousness for our times. It's got an other-worldly feel to it, another good combination of words and dreamy backing. Nice one Jim.

Wasn't happy with mix, it was really bassy and distorting when played loud in the car. Removed power chord guitar part that was quite boomy and replaced it with a virtual bass using korg nanokey, and tweaked with the levels and setting of everything else, probably too tinny now.
oh well.

Enjoyed the tune, excellent lyrics too.
I've listened to all the mixes.
Very minimal difference, but third one is my favourite, but at the same time car speakers vary   so much I don't think that's a great guide.
