Wow, congratulations.

I love synths. I have always wanted to learn how they work.

BTW: I have two of them that I use all the time. I just pull and push until something good comes out  :-) but I don't really understand what they do. I connected them together with a midi cable to confuse myself even more!!!

Can't wait to hear some great sounds from yours.

cheers,

Ian

Sweet! I love the classic, warm synth tones you'll get some nice ones out of that
Okay to cover.

So how is it?  Have you used this on a track?

I have wanted this, or a Behringer Deepmind 12, or a Korg Minilogue XD, for ages.  Still haven't pulled the trigger.

This is a Behringer Poly D, a clone and a bit more of the Moog Mini, four oscillators rather than the 3 with the Moog ladder filter, and the addition of chorus, overdrive and a 32 note sequencer.

I've used it on a few of the recent tracks from Jemima's Kite, Greeny, Ella and Redler.

It is an awesome bass and lead synth, very analog and old school but still something to be reckoned with. There are no presets, there's no instructions, it does have classic Midi and midi over USB and a number of analog inputs, CV gate and other outputs.

It's really a mono synth, but with having the four oscillators there's a four note paraphonic mode, so good for the thirds, fourths and fifths etc. In mono mode it can be extremely FAT.

The bass synths on this track https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=29703.msg352308#msg352308 are Poly D.

I wouldn't buy it as my first synth, but as an addition to the stable it's a really gem.

I like the look of the Deepmind, though on my wish list at the moment is the HydraSynth from ASM and Behringer's recreation of the  ARP Oddysey.

Oh holy hell. I did not know that behringer was recreating classic analog gear.  That poly D is a really nice synth.
