STRANGE BREW REMASTERS #2 COME ON BABY.

Since finding my mojo again i have also been getting to grips with all the new software and i thought kill two birds with one stone and i have been remastering these old band sons that i wrote. I must say these are far from perfect and i was considering re recording them but i don't know if i will as i have new stuff flowing and also i think these capture a time in life so i thought whatever i decide i would still like to have these in their original form. As i say these are far from perfect but its amazing at how well they have come up. I managed to get the hiss down to a minimum and bring the bass up a little and generally eq as best as i can to give each instrument some sort of clarity. These are taking me quite a while to do so i've set my goal to one per week.

I do like the late 60's psych garage band vibe and sound. The analogue, honest sound of the recording just adds to that feel. In fact, it's the kind of thing that new bands would try to steal / reproduce to make them sound more authentic!

Sounds really tight, and the solos are fab.

I liked this right from the start and when the wah guitar came in, I was blown away! Top class job on each way and special credit on drumming. Nice garage/psych stuff!

Great raw sound. Some really good performances in there. It's true you can't beat of tastily placed Wah. Solid tune Dan... you guys were shit hot!

I agree, your band was stellar sounding.  Danny here's a little remix of your mp3 I think you'll find it much more punchy and I further reduced hiss, brought out the drums, your vocals, and thickened the bass.

That´s so cool! It would be wonderful to go and hear this kind of music to some club. I would love it. Unfortunately it´s not possible now. I wonder when it is again. It is terrible that all concerts has been cancelled. 
New mix is great. Now it sounds more like finished record.

It sounds much better Mike. I have purchased software on your advice today so i will use this for the next remaster in this series though i still fear it wont be as good as your remasters but hopefully in time it will come. I am enjoying the mixing phase a lot more now that i have got to grips with the plug in side of things. As always Mike thanks for your time you have helped me no end since my return and it really is appreciated

It is so sad i really love my live "Real Music" and i am really missing it. This forum helps greatly with that as its lovely to hear everyone's new songs, and see the feedback everyone gets
