Vocal version of into the light by Mike S.Mike, Huntinford and Kenny Mac.

This song has had many forms.
Mike Huntinford had the backer Mike s added guitar then I jumped on.
As the version was more instrumental with the guitar I set about
Writing lyrics and with Mike Stewart's permission lifting the guitar in and out to fit the lyrics. I then added a funky guitar to it
I've got to admit I was very pleased with the result.
I added an echoe to Mike's guitar and it rolled into the track.
it's a totally different animal from the instrumental,but it's meant to be.
I think my guitar work and Mike's played well together.

Kenny I am so glad you posted this version its amazing. Its like literally 2 different songs. Love the harmonies and the catchy chorus "into the light" and you have mixed those guitars perfectly so they really compliment each other.

This is mighty fine. The vocal is excellent and tops-off a superb collaboration. Doesn't feel like lots of separate parts and players at all now - really tight and focused. There's bit that remind me of mid 80's Wet Wet Wet. In a good way!

Wow, great job Kenny. This is so different from the instrumental, but you use the groove to maximum advantage. This all works so well, the guitars blend very well together and the vocals are superb. Brilliantly performed with some great harmonies. The way you placed them in the mix is perfect as well. A really professional sounding multi-layered track here, very well done.

I can only agree with Mike, it's interesting to see how collaborations can take one idea in different directions.

Well, pretty amazed at the difference between the 2 songs from the same original track. Great job Kenny, you did find a great direction for Mikes track. Great singing and vocal melody. Love those funky rhythm guitar bits too. Lovely track.
