For the 40's festival

This song has become a jazz standard (pp 124 of Real Book Volume 3).
"Que reste-t-il de nos amours" is a French popular song, with music by Léo Chauliac and lyrics by Charles Trenet. There's a version with English lyrics called "I Wish You Love"...
Among the very numerous versions of this song of 1942 I chose a Bossa version, first in its English version, in C, then in a second part, in its French version, according to the version of Joao Gilberto (...who sings it in French), in A.

I like the "bossa" accompaniment of this song, the score is free on internet at this address

https://www.gillesrea.com/produit/joao-gilberto-que-reste-t-il-de-nos-amoursi-wish-you-love/

I left the orchestral introduction of Joao Gilberto's version in transition between the two versions ( around 1'40")

ah and then I made a little joke in the finale by playing a very famous song that I invite you to recognize (around 3'15" whose melody sticks very well to the chords )
...I'm sure our friend Alfredo, an expert in songs, will recognize this extract.

Absolutely gorgeous. Makes me want to be on holiday somewhere *sigh*

Beautifully played, and I really like the vocal - classy and intimate. Excellent.

I would say "Isn't She Lovely"...

but this one is really lovely anyway!  :D

Quote[I would say "Isn't She Lovely".../quote]
:) :) :) ha ha ha I was sure that my friend Alfredo would find the title of the little musical quote, at the end ..it's "isn't she lovely" from the great Stevie Wonder, I love this guy when he plays the chromatic harmonica, an instrument that is much less played now than the diatonic harmonica "nlues", ùaois which is very nice, very jazzy.

Very nicely done JP, two versions for the price of one. And they are both lovely versions. The bossa feel works really well and your guitar and vox combine beautifully to give just the right feel to this one.

Hook

Marvelously well done. Totally dig it.
Rock on!

Brilliant! There's always room for bossanova music in my heart - I'm loving the laid back feel of that kind music. You play it so well!! Top class production, too.
