The Funkside of the Force (Featuring Mike Stewart) awaiting Kenny Mac's Addition

Hi guys,

Thought that I'd post up the project as it stands thus far (Mike Huntingford, Mike Stewart (aka Mike S), and Kenneth McIIvenny (aka Kenny Mac).  This is based upon my funk backing that I created.  Mike S has already forwarded his guitar part and I we await Kenny's additions - which will be added and mixed into the final project.

So here it is a work in progress - feedback is requested.

Very good track i listened to this when i first joined and i liked the keyboards and overall groove to this track. The addition of guitar was much needed (in my opinion) and i assuming Mike S is the guitarist and he has certainly nailed it with a perfect tone and great smooth flowing licks that really enhance this song. This in turn really lifts the already perfect keys that Mike has provided. Im hoping Kenny is going to be adding a vocal track to this piece and i'm very interested to see how that fits into the composition although this track has that rare quality that it works equally well as an instrumental.

Excellent uplifting track bringing bit of sunshine to this rainy day in Yorkshire.... I'll be interested to hear where Kenny is going to manage to get in as this sounds like a completed track to my ear but I'm sure he'll find a way .....Thanks for the sunshine

This is building nicely, the layers of guitar and keyboards work really well. It's got a really nice groove going on and it'll be interesting to see where it goes next.

I think the only thing you might need to think about is maybe stripping out some of the instruments in places to give the vocals a bit of space to work with. But you won't know until you have the vocals......
