Here's a new collab. with Joseph Rodriguez called Beyond The Darkness. Another heavier rock song that I think leans a bit towards Black Sabbath...at least musically it does to my ears. Credits - Joseph - all the music. Farrell - all vocals and lyric. I've been watching the series "The Vikings" which greatly influenced my words and backing vocals in this song, as does the ongoing pandemic....a sort of droning chant in places.
Beyond the Darkness

(V1) Fires burn, lift us from this place
Stars fall, protect us from this waste....
When the demons raise up their heads
Give us strength to escape our enemy's dread.....
Our ancestors have been laid to rest
Still the war remains our quest
Champions of empires battle for peace
Mongers of fear shear the lamb's fleece....

(V2) Locked inside our castle walls
The safest place from the chilling squalls....
Invisible killers float on the wind
As we don our battle masks again.....
Hoping to stop the spread at last
Before our fate has been cast
Look for the angels to save our brave
The bell tolls over hallowed graves

(Chr) Beyond the darkness there is light
Through the darkness we still fight
Beyond the darkness there is light
Through the darkness we still fight.............

(2x solo)

(Chr 2x) Beyond the darkness there is light
Through the darkness we still fight
Beyond the darkness there is light
Through the darkness we still fight.............

(solo outro)

I liked this right from the first riffs, perfect guitar and bass tone and so well played! Slow tempo work perfectly!

Your voice sounds so good on each genre! Excellent job, Farrell!

Great guitar riffs here and although im much more laid back as a guitarist i do love a bit of metal and this is a great track. Love that chugging guitar and the vocals are great too

Great composition

This is right in the Heavy sweet spot - sounds like a mash up of some of the greats.

Great guitars, the vox is excellent and the recording and production is really pro.

I like this - not my usual listening material, but I realy like this.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Life is not about the number of Breathes you take, it is the amount of times your breathe is taken away

Very cool  track! I love this kind of heavy-stuff. Love those guitars and dark sound. Vocals fits like a glove. Great harmonies.  !@004

Really like the Sabbath 'doom' on the guitars, and the vocal is also giving me an Ozzie vibe. That solo is really tasty too. Dark & heavy yet melodic. A great listen!

Yeah proper Sabs type doominess! I am getting the feel of Dio era Sabbath somehow from the riffing. Really cool tune guys, seriously heavy stuff.
