My Girl (Madness Cover)

Messing about one day on my old acoustic and worked this out in a fingerpick style so thought id record it on my phone. The barnet is in a terrible state due to lockdown so i asked Suggs to step in and be my head for the gig

Big Madness fan here (part of the crowd that caused an earthquake at the original Madstock....), so was intrigued to see this as an acoustic cover. You did a great job, very nice treatment and excellent finger picking. Vocals are great and it sounds pretty good for being recorded on the phone. Nice work!

Thanks for the comments everyone. I posted this to a facebook group i am on and have been asked to do more (lol) I probably wont attack anymore Madness songs but i may do a couple of others and if ido i will share them here obviously not with my lockdown head on

Lovely fingerpicking. I never imagined this song done in this style, but it's so well done that it seems obvious now. A combination of brilliant songwriting and an excellent performance from you. Love the vocal - spot on.
