In these gloomy times of universal confinement, I invite you to a beautiful virtual journey with my friend Henri Salvador who composed this song "Syracuse".

on the video you can read in subtitle the lyrics and their translation

the score for guitar comes from the arrangement made by the great French classical guitarist Roland Dyens
This song is dedicated to our doctor/musician friend Alfredo who in Sicily is one of the first to be on the front line of this viral war.

Good luck to all of you, your friends, your families across the universe...

A beautiful dedication and a very beautiful song. So sweet and soothing, and I love the clarity you bring to it.

This is SO lovely.

Very beautiful indeed JP. Lovely guitar playing and a superb vocal performance, and a wonderful sentiment behind the song.

My springs passed a long time ago but I have seen both Syracuse and Paris. Happy memories of both, let's hope there are more to be had after all this is over.
