Anyone have experience recording post amp effects?

For some reason Ive decided to give this a shot, adding reverb and delay post amp in the attenuator, then into the BR.  Theoretically I could get these tones silently at home, late at night.

So the signal path would be this...

Guitar->Amp->Attenuator w/line out->reverb/delay->Micro BR.

I realize I could use the MBR's effects post amp, but I will likley use my GT-8.

Has anyone tried this?  The line out of the attenuator is a 20db level, will this work with pedals, including the gt-8?

you can adjust the input sensitivity on the gt-8 so should be no problem really. I'm running several DI cables into a small mixer with pre-amps, and feed the line output into the gt-8 (left) and pod xt (right). The stereo output of those go into another mixer and the output of that finally into the BR.
Or I just sit on the sofa with just a guitar and the BR.

Very cool, stereo times two.  Also do you know if a line output will power headphones?

Wouldnt the headphones need to be the same ohms as the speaker?
