So sorry that I haven't been able to get back to you for a few days.  I accidentally locked myself out of the forum.  Fortunately, Oldrottenhead and 64 Guitars helped be get back in.

Thanks to all for your kind words.  :)   I will listen to more of your fine work and reply shortly.

@Ferryman.  So, you're still hanging in with Samplitude.  Glad to hear it's treated you well.  I was not so fortunate.  At the time you followed my lead I was using ver 2008 and had no issues with it whatsoever for about 6 years.  Then, in 2013, I made the mistake of upgrading it to ver 2013.  About a year later it crashed on me mid project.  For no reason, I could no longer record MIDI data.  It seemed stuck in pause mode no matter what I tried.  I contacted tech support but they had no solution.  I temporarily had it working for a short bit by running it in Admin mode, but it crashed again a few days later.  So, I had no choice.   I switched to Cakewalk.  It seemed to me to have the best support. Any issue I had could usually be resolved within about a half hour on the user forum. At the time it was Sonar X3, but in late 2017 it's former owner, Gibson announced it would no longer develop it further and in April of 2018 sold it to a company in Singapore called Bandlab.  Now, it's called Cakewalk by Bandlab and it's FREE!!  It's unbelievable!  A DAW that once had a price tag of over $500.00 is now free and fully functioned.
