Imagine (John Lennon cover) Electric Guitar + Vocal

I recorded this rather quickly tonight after practicing on and off for a few weeks.  I used my Gretsch pro jet electric and sang while playing.  Recorded on Zoom R24.  Cad Live d90 dynamic mic thru mic mechanic 2 pedal.  Mixed in reaper using waves CLA plugins

Thanks for the feedback.  Woke up this morning and of course I wanted to try to re-record it better.  So I updated the posted file.  The singing is a bit more confident I think.

Hi Tim, Thanks.  I haven't been on the board much, but I just want to say  that I used to always look forward to hearing your stuff.  In fact, at some point maybe ~5 years ago I downloaded ~30 of my favorite posted songs of yours, and over the years I have continued to listen to them. Few people make music like that, of a style I like, anymore.

The final product here is greater than the sum of it's parts. Very nice job of getting a big sound from not alot of tracks.
Solid vocals and instrumentation add up to a fine cover of a classic JL tune. Nice!
